Protectors of the Future

Bound by duty, the knights of the Vigilant Sun refuse to waiver under the rising onslaught of monster attacks in the North. Many have already fallen to the growing threat and more yet shall fall, but without a hint of fear they continue to patrol the Northern reaches of Arabel's domain. At the dawn of each new day, the words of Nahlo the Eternal, Knight Arbiter of the Vigilant Sun, booms across the landscape.
"By the light of Amaunator, our judgement is absolute and the sins of Arabel our burden. Yet, it is not the sinners whom need us the most now, it is the innocent and their future which rests in our hands. We march onward, without fear or remorse, for we are the protectors of the future, the children of Arabel."

Dead and wounded knights of the Vigilant Sun begin to fill the Abbey, those unable to battle but strong enough to stand remain behind to tend the wounded. The patrolling continues in the North, the Vigilant Sun undeterred.

Smoke rises from the battlefield just outside the Western gates of Tilverton. Thanks to the collective effort of mercenaries, the Crimson Guard and the Tower, the city's defenses were able to hold against this brutal assault. Lord Rowanmantle is putting all her resources into reinforcing the defenses of her city, unwilling to take any chances.

Only a handful of knights remain of the Vigilant Sun, each and everyone of them still marching North whenever possible. Sacrificing their lives without hesitation, as they hopelessly battle the ever growing White Horde.
