2). Perk : consideration for membership in the Ghosts of Cormyr
3). General outline of Goals: I wish to play a retired War Wizard that was in charge of less than wholesome aspects of the Cormyrian war machine (think medieval CIA stuff, mind control, brainwashing with the use of spells) who sat out the fighting during the revolution, having grown weary of war and wishing to distance himself from his past. As the revolution progressed and he saw his retirement home grow home to many things aberrant to old-fashioned Cormyrian society, old loyalties began to weight and he began to entertain plotting ways to reverse the societal disaster (in his mind) that was the revolution. The people are told the new rule is better and do not question it; so he shall use his own means of inserting ideas into the people, the means he had employed to break many a staunch enemy of the Cormyrean state once before..
The plan I had in mind for this PC was to pursue Enchanting as a means to induce individuals into contentious affairs with one another, playing up differences between factions and between the people and the present rulers of Arabel. The end game I was thinking of was a spell of mass hysteria that would provoke a riot forcing Gondegal to either relinquish his power or provoke a massacre against his own people.

The main thing I'd have questions about is the retired War Wizard aspect. That's not exactly a low-level position, especailly for what he's saying. Just seems jarring to have a level 4 one running around and all.

I can agree with this. War Wizards don’t retire and a War Wizard there would be more focused on dragging Kingsley back to Cormyr than anything else.

I got word back from CtR, he's fine with and agrees to the adjustment about his background being a Battlemage, not a war wizard.
