Things to do in game:
I) Leander believes in the power of hope and redemption, which he will continue to preach to PCs via personal interaction and public sermons (already done several with Fleur et al.).II) He regularly invites PCs to the Shrine in Bospir to talk about Selune, provide them with little gifts (e.g, the Moonstone rings), and will rp about dreams and nightmares sent by the Moon.
III) He gathers other PCs for explorations (Hullack, Kings Forest, Wyvernwater, etc.) to pursue Selunite plots such as saving and redeeming the Queen (primary goal) redeeming (Fleur, Tahri) or curing (e.g., Harlan, Grimsnout, Daggers/Selzouk) other PCs. These explorations often lead to other hooks that Leander then uses in RP (outside, during quests),
IV) He pursues quests with Selunite aims and flavors, such as countering the Hags (e.g., Barrenstone, Sirene's Sister, Overgrown Estate), Sharrans (e.g., Icy Tower, Mountain walk re. Star Chart), and Drow (e.g., cleansed Heart of the Drow Priestess), hires PCs to obtain plot-relevant information/items (including via the Gilded Venture, e.g., the hag's eye from Tahri), spreads plot information via in-game notes (e.g., on the Crystal people), and generally tries to make at least one sending per playing session.
V) He has also been gathering more people for the "Enstarred" player faction, including Fleur (Draco, main partner in faith), Edwin (Baldric), and Nim (Pingo). They have also set up a PC-group base on the Moonsea Ride (the "Moonbase"), which has been upgraded a bit with Selunite Flavor after a few events with Perdition.
VI) As a member of the Templars, Leander would aim to portray the firm belief (along with Aurelian Moonfire) that redemption is almost always possible, and that it is much more important than some short-term gains. I can also see him making a stronger push towards exploring the ruins of Anauria and recover artifacts linked with the Moon there. This has already worked quite well, at times, with Perdition. I would also try to mix exploration with quests and resource gathering for plot aims (e.g., the Adventurer's Gate; done a bit of that before)
VII) He is involved with various plots but tries to prioritise a few with clear Selunie-angles (Redeeming the Queen, Lake of Lillies, Crystal people) to advance goals that I think would mesh very well with the Lunar Templars, but I am actually also happy to see other people taking important roles and changing things (e.g., Ellatria with the Crystal people);
Brief background:
Leander was adopted by a Selunite sect that tried to commune with the Moon by dancing in the woods. Due to a dalliance with a human girl he missed a ritual that resulted in the mysterious disappearance of the entire sect. Torn between survivor's guilt and the feeling that this might all have been Selune's will, he keeps being visited by strange dreams. Was the sect claimed by Shadows, or was there more - did they play some part in Arabel being where it is now?
Other:
I plan to do more on developing Leander's personal interpretation of the Selunite faith. A role with the Templars could help flesh this out, also with regards to issues where he may disagree with other PC/NPC members
