Word spreads regarding the announcement by the Queen that her, and her family, are due to leave the city on a diplomatic mission to Suzail, with the aim of securing aid and assistance in the ongoing war with the Azure Flame

Sir Malcolm DeSchurr, the current High Arbiter, is due to make an speech in the coming days to elaborate on the new "city protectorate" which is due to be established. Many wonder where this leaves the current Arabel Militia, with it's members notably absent from attending the announcement.

House Delzuld, it was said, are to continue their purging of the Storm Horns, having not been granted the Barony of the North yet despite the disappearance of the former Lord Braerwinter

The mood in settlements outside the city walls varies - some happy that a firmer hand will be at the top table, with others angry at what they assume with be a more oppressive regime.

In some dark corners the following of the obscure cults of the city grows, with people seeking any sort of edge they can to banish what they see is the inevitable destruction of the city..

Some nobles and wealthier families also seem conspicuously absent in the days after the queen leaves, rumor spreads that she's not seeking assistance but afraid the city will fall - and those who can afford to flee - are doing so if only under the guise of visiting family to the south or business partners in the Dales.

In the future, there are two simple rules to remember:

      NO SPITTING.

      DO NOT CROSS MISTER MOLOCH.
