Something strange afoot in Eveningstar

As the rooster crooks to welcome the first rays of Lathander above Eveningstar, the sun rises to a different Eveningstar. Rumors spread rapidly that during the night, a contingent of adventurers, led by the Divine Trio returned to the small town in triumph. Carrying with them several bodies, the small group ventured straight to the Temple of the Morning.
Soon after, the gossipiest of the Squires and stationed clergy speak of a powerful artifact returned to the temple. Some whisper that the Tomb of Saint Eveningstar, the founder of the small town had been uncovered. Others that the bloodied adventurers stood face to face with a powerful angel and came out of the fight alive and triumphant.
As the accompanying adventurers depart Eveningstar to rest their heads, three Lathanderites dressed in the red cloaks of senior clergy, are seen headed towards the cemetery of Eveningstar, carrying dead bodies dressed in the uniform of Squires on their shoulders, each with a shovel in their hands.
