The maiden at the Lighthouse

For hours a half-elf maiden was seen staring out to the water watching the ships. Those close enough to hear her song said it was a hauntingly beautiful lament for a friend that had passed.

[several halflings attend the event, a pair even join in as chorus to the hymns. Though it is brief, a stillness holds their heavy hearts as they mourn the passing of one of their own.]

Barely a ten-day later, the maiden again was seen at the Lighthouse, though both the song, and those it says goodbye to are different.
