We'd need some more details to see if it is worthy of an aasimar, yeah. What will make it more than a dwarf with glowy eyes.
The Ilmateri angle works well with the aasimar side. Its not a god you'd see a dwarf follow much. Or a dwarf seeking to help any and all that suffer.
Could ask the player for more details though.
